“The righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.” – Proverbs 12:26 (NIV)
There comes a point in all of our lives where we have to evaluate the people we choose to surround ourselves with. Most people, when it comes to choosing relationships, make decisions out of fear rather than out of growth.
Not surrounding yourself with the right people can hinder your growth in every way. Your faith and passion for life are ignited when you are with people who celebrate you instead of tolerate you. The right people will also challenge you to grow and blossom into the best version of yourself.
Becoming the person you were meant to be is going to require some necessary sacrifices, which include the choices you make in relationships. Although you cannot change the people around you, the good news is you can change the people you choose to be around.
