Would you consider yourself more of a talker or a listener? Most people tend to fall under the category of talking more than listening. Perhaps this might be the reason for much of the conflict in their personal and professional relationships.
Talking less and listening more is a hard adjustment to make because it requires patience, focus, and self-control. Think about it this way: If you wanted to learn how to skydive, would you listen carefully to your instructor? Of course you would. Why? Because your life depends on it.
In order to know where the ripcord is located, and when to pull it, it would be in your best interest to listen intently. Life and relationships work the same way. To overcome its challenges, we must learn to listen to God and follow His instructions. Why? Because your life depends on it.
