“Being fully persuaded that God was able to do what He had promised.” – Romans 4:21 (BSB)
Did you know that true Bible faith is something that cannot be forced or conjured up in the natural? It is not wishful thinking or having a strong desire for something.
What is true Bible faith? Faith is always a gift from God, and never something that can be produced by human effort alone. Here’s the concept. Scripture tells us that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). After we have heard and believed the Word, something supernatural (faith) is being birthed on the inside.
Faith for the believer is a divine persuasion and therefore distinct from human belief, yet involving it. The Spirit of God continuously births faith in the heart of every believer so they can know His will, follow His plan, and fulfill His purpose for their lives.
In essence, faith begins where the will of God is known. Therefore, you don’t have true Bible faith until you know God’s will for a thing. By the way, His Word is His will. When you receive His Word, you are developing a divine persuasion that His promises are true and will come to pass His way and in His timing.
