Have you ever thought about why the windshield of a vehicle is bigger than the rearview mirror? Perhaps to remind you that what’s behind you is not nearly as important as what’s before you.

To reach for what’s before you requires vision. Without a vision, the people perish (Proverbs 29:18). As long as you can’t see where you’re going, then next year at this time you will be exactly where you are today.

A clear vision for where you are going is important to reach your destination. But it’s impossible to stay on the journey if you don’t know where you’re going. Once you are clear about the vision, you’ll begin to develop faith for the necessary resources to fulfill it.

I want to encourage you to get a vision for your life. Seek God about your life’s purpose. Set some goals for yourself. Stop living in complacency and start making moves toward your destiny!
