Have you ever found yourself searching for real love and a place to belong? In a broken and hurting world, it’s hard to find a friend who’s loyal and true. Not everyone is willing to go through the good and bad times with you.

As cliche as this may sound, a real friend is hard to find. We’ve all had friends who either disappeared when we needed them the most, fell through the cracks, or perhaps befriended us with wrong intentions. Therefore, hurt was the end result.

After all the betrayals, broken trusts, and abandonments, many people end up a lot more friendless, and even worst—disconnected. If this has been your experience, I have good news for you. They may have left, but your best friend is still close by your side.

We have a friend who will never leave us, forsake us, or abandon us. While many seek to be a friend to the famous, Jesus chooses to be a friend to the friendless.

Scripture Focus:

“There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.” – Proverbs 18:24 (NLT)
