Sometimes we have the tendency to think that strength and power are qualities only reserved for a select few. Today, I want you to know that there is strength and power reserved for you too!

Thankfully, as believers, we don’t have to rely on our own strength. God is our source of strength. When we call out to Him in our time of weakness, His power can carry us through the most difficult seasons of our lives.

God’s unlimited strength is always available to help you do the impossible. As long as you think that you can accomplish things on your own, you will be limited. But when you say to God, “I cannot, but You can,” you have just tapped into the real source of your strength.

Drawing strength from God is what enables you to do what you cannot do in your own power. So whatever you are facing this week, you don’t have to face it alone. When you tap into the strength of Almighty God, you will see His power manifesting in your life!

Scripture Focus:

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”– Ephesians 6:10 (NIV)

Are there any obstacles you are facing right now that seem insurmountable? What if I told you that your obstacles could end up being opportunities?

In our imaginary ideal world we don’t expect difficult situations to get in the way of our dreams. We expect to just sail through life’s seas without any storms. The reality is that we all face obstacles in life, but it’s how we respond to them that determines the outcomes.

I want to reassure you today that whatever obstacles come your way, you can overcome them in Jesus’ name. Instead of setting you back in defeat, obstacles can give rise to some of your greatest victories. Whatever you face can be used to your advantage.

When you are convinced of the victory you have in Christ, obstacles in your path are welcomed and challenges are accepted. You see stumbling blocks as steppingstones into your God-given destiny.

Scripture Focus:

”There is a real opportunity here for great and worthwhile work, even though there are many opponents.” – 1 Corinthians 16:9 (GNT)

I believe God often directs us through divine opportunities presented to us each day. What are divine opportunities? Divine opportunities are invitations given by God to bless us or cause us to be a blessing.

Some may seem like small occasions to help and serve others. Or they can be major game changers to advance your life, business, or ministry. The ultimate goal of a divine opportunity is to fulfill the will of God in the earth.

I want you to see your life as one continuous series of opportunities orchestrated by God to fulfill His purpose and plan for your life. Although we all may encounter divine opportunities, very few people recognize and seize them.

While some take advantage of their opportunities and are elevated, others simply ignore their opportunities and remain stagnant.

Today, my prayer is that God would open your eyes to divine opportunities—opportunities to give, serve, and help others. May He also cause you to be at the right place, at the right time, doing the right things with the right people.

Scripture Focus:

Whenever we have the opportunity, we have to do what is good for everyone, especially for the family of believers.” – Galatians 6:10 (GWT)

Choices. Life is filled with them. From the second we open our eyes in the morning to the time we go to bed at night, we are faced with a myriad of choices that impact our lives in so many ways.

As believers, the Bible was written to help us make wise choices in life. Not only that, it’s filled with examples of good and bad choices that were made, and the outcomes they produced.

So many people make bad choices in life and wonder why things never work out for them. They often complain about the outcomes without ever considering the causes that created them.

God expects more from His children. He wants us to make decisions that are in harmony with His plan for our lives. Therefore, it is up to us to align our wills with the Word in order to experience God’s best.

Scripture Focus:

“All wisdom comes from the LORD, and so do common sense and understanding.”– Proverbs 2:6 (CEV)

There are people in the world who make a lifestyle out of making excuses. On the other hand, there are people who, in spite of opposition, press forward into their dreams.

Right now, I want you to examine your life. Are excuses holding you back from reaching your goals? Whether it’s serving God, getting out of debt, starting your own business, or building quality relationships, faith requires taking action, not making excuses.

There will always be an excuse not to do something you know you should do. Obstacles in life are plentiful. We all have our share. But I want to challenge you today to stop giving God your excuses and start giving Him your obedience.

You can either decide to keep making excuses, or start making moves. At the end of the day, it is your decision to make. So don’t postpone your life any longer waiting for things to be perfect. Get rid of the excuses and start taking steps toward progress.

Scripture Focus:

“Don’t excuse yourself by saying, “Look, we didn’t know.”– Proverbs 24:12 (NLT)
