We live in a world where it’s very easy to give up hope. Especially when the most dominant news in the media is about the perils of life. It can be extremely difficult to reach for your dreams when everything around you is screaming defeat.

If you’ve been wrestling with the idea of giving up, you could be throwing away something wonderful―your future. When you have lost hope, you have lost everything. Faith doesn’t work without hope because faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

In other words, you have to hope that things canget better before you believe things will get better. The most amazing things in life tend to always happen the moment you’re about to give up.

So don’t do it! Keep pushing. If you fall down, get back up and try again. Success is not always a straight line, a perfect score, or a one-time prayer. It’s really about the resilience to keep going no matter what!

I encourage you today to never give up, never surrender to defeat, but always rise against all odds.

Scripture Focus:

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD. – Psalm 31:24

Many times during our lives we go through challenges that make us question our purpose in life. During these tough times, we may wonder why we are here and doubt the vision God has given us to fulfill.

It’s also during these times that we must remind ourselves that God has a plan for us and He’s already given us everything we need in order to achieve our dreams in life.

Sometimes it’s just a matter of pressing in a little harder to experience the victory God has promised you. Today is a good day to press forward into your purpose!

Scripture Focus:

”But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” – 2 Chronicles 15:7 (NIV)

Until you get your mind right, you’ll never be able to get your life right. Why? Because nothing in your life can exceed your level of thinking. Your reality cannot supersede your mentality.

Every success or failure in life is brought about by your way of thinking. Consequently, those thoughts become the driving force of your actions. That is why so many people live a life of limitation; their life is as restricted as their thinking.

If you truly want to change your life, you must first change your way of thinking. Bigger and better results require a bigger and better vision for your life. So the choice is yours. You can either think your way to a whole new level or to an all-time low. Which will it be?

Scripture Focus:

“For as he thinks within himself, so he is.” – Proverbs 23:7 (NASB)

Do you realize that in one split second, everything in this world could be taken away from you? Be it your job, money, possessions, health, or loved ones. The only thing that cannot be taken away from you is your relationship with Jesus Christ. That is what we need to be pursuing daily and sharing with this lost world.

Pray to Receive Jesus:

Dear God,

I know that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I come before You asking for the forgiveness of all my sins. I turn away from my sinful life and receive the life You have planned for me. Cleanse me of my past and make me brand new.

I believe that Jesus died for me and was raised from the dead. I receive the eternal gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Come live in my heart from this day forward and help me to live each day with purpose, knowing that You are always with me. Amen.
