Are you fully aware that God has you here for a reason? You were never meant to just go through life interacting randomly. But rather, you were designed to live intentionally, fulfilling God’s purpose by serving others.

Whether it’s teaching third graders in your school district, serving the needs of your community, or supporting the vision of your local church… where you are right now is your personal “mission field.” Ask God to open your eyes to see the needs you are called to meet.

Right now, you are being prepared to make an impact and fulfill what God wants to accomplish through you. Seeing everyday life as your personal mission field means being intentional about looking for opportunities to do the things Jesus did.

Scripture Focus:

”How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” – Acts 10:38

So many people today have settled for much less than God’s best for their lives. Perhaps because they have given up on themselves or they have given up on the things God has promised them. Sadly, they never get to experience the joy and fulfillment that is available to them in Christ.

Today, I want to encourage you to not give up on what God has for you. Despite what it looks like, never settle for what is comfortable and easy. Raise the bar higher for your life and go after your dreams. Through faith in God’s promises and a firm commitment to follow His plan, you will overcome every obstacle in your path and experience the fullness of what He has promised you.

Scripture Focus:

“The Spirit of God whets our appetite by giving us a taste of what’s ahead. He puts a little of heaven in our hearts so that we’ll never settle for less.” – 2 Corinthians 5:5 (The Message Bible)

Did you know that when Christ came into the world, that it happened in the fullness of time? In other words, Christ didn’t just come at a random time. He arrived on earth by appointment of His Father. It was part of God’s eternal purpose and plan long before the ages. He came at a specific time, in a specific place, to a specific people, and for a specific purpose.

Likewise, I believe that we are right where we are, in this specific day and hour by divine appointment. This is a set time ordained by God, and there is a specific heavenly agenda that He wants to birth through us. Just as His Son was sent from heaven to earth in the fullness of time, God has ordained some specific things to be released from heaven to earth into our lives. Everything ordained by heaven for your life will happen in the fullness of time!

Scripture Focus:

“But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law.” – Galatians 4:4

It’s a proven fact that if your thoughts are positive, your attitude will be positive, and so will your actions. But if you are constantly feeding on negativity, it will come out through every word you speak and every decision you make. We have to be careful what we let in, and what we allow to influence us, because how we think will affect how we live.

Everyday, we must stand guard at the door of our minds and protect our hearts from intruders. This requires us to take time to fill our minds with the Word of God and allow it to govern our thoughts. Just like our words, our thoughts have immense power. Whatever dominates our thoughts will eventually dominate our lives.

When we realize this truth and take action, our lives can be changed forever.

Scripture Focus:

“More than anything you guard, protect your mind, for life flows from it.” – Proverbs 4:23 (CEB)
