“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”– Ephesians 6:11

One of the most important things we can understand as believers is that we are in a battle! The day you trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior was the day you became part of a spiritual battle.

Even though we can’t see it, there are spiritual forces surrounding us—angels vs. demons… good vs. evil… light vs. darkness. And although this activity is taking place in the invisible realm, it can effect us in the visible realm.

Your victory in spiritual warfare must rest on the reality that Jesus Christ has already purchased our victory on the cross. We have everything we need to win; it’s just a matter of using the weapons and exercising our authority.

God will not do it for you! However, it is your responsibility to put on the whole armor of God in order to stand on victory ground. The Word of God assures us that we can stand firm and resist anything Satan throws our way!

“Ask me, and I will tell you things that you don’t know and can’t find out.” – Jeremiah 33:3 (CEV)

When you’re seeking answers for your life, who or what do you turn to? Does your life sometimes feel like chaos ringing in your ears? Voices from every side will constantly try to influence the thoughts you think and the direction you take.

Maybe you’re hoping to hear from God today about some very important matters, but you’re not sure how to know His voice. You may need to hear God today about your finances, your children, your marriage, your job situation, or your health.

The good news is that God has promised to always be with us, and He gave us His Spirit to help lead and guide us into all truth. That means you can know exactly what God is saying to you about every situation that concerns you.

You don’t have to go through life blindly making decisions or playing the guessing game. When you learn to turn to God in prayer, He will reveal to you hidden things you cannot find any place else.

“So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us.” – Philippians 3:15 (The Message Bible)

There’s a very popular saying that if you aim at nothing you will hit it every time. Faith works the same way.

Many people are discouraged and living defeated lives simply because they only focus on their present circumstances. They don’t know how to target their faith for something greater. When you constantly dwell on your problems, it only generates more problems.

Why not target your faith for a better outcome? In other words, focus more on what you do want rather than what you don’t want. Just like an arrow, you can target your faith. That requires you getting in the Word of God and discovering His promises for your life.

So what are you believing for? What scriptural promises are you standing on? What dreams are you going after? Don’t focus on missing! You will only miss one hundred percent of the shots you don’t take.
