“A person’s steps are directed by the LORD, and the LORD delights in his way.” – Psalm 37:23 (GWT)

It’s very easy to just sit back, get comfortable with where we are in life, and stop pursuing our dreams. However, God’s plan for us is progressive and He wants to take us further than we’ve ever been.

To move forward in life requires us to keep stepping, even in the midst of our challenges. Please understand that challenges will arise every day, but with every challenge comes the opportunity to grow and maximize our full potential.

Despite the enemy’s resistance, keep stepping forward. Every step—whether small or great—will bring you closer to your dreams. The steps we take will determine the impact we make. Keep stepping into your destiny!

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.” – Isaiah 60:1 (ESV)

God wants you to come to a higher place of destiny! You may be thinking that the best of your life is behind you. But I want to encourage you to rise higher in faith and believe that God is not finished with you. He has more in store for you as you come up higher.

Everything will not be revealed to you all at once. As you choose to rise higher in faith, God will show you little by little all the amazing things He has planned in your future.

That’s why the greatest enemy to your destiny is complacency. Complacency is settling in a place of comfort. A person that is complacent has no passion, desire, or motivation to move forward or receive anything from God.

Today’s challenge is to rise higher. The higher you go in God, the more He will reveal to you. The more He reveals to you, the greater capacity you’ll have to receive all that He has destined for you.

“O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.” – Psalm 34:3

Many times it’s our own limited thinking that is keeping us from winning in life. The reason is because we have the tendency to think that our problems are greater than God. Although there are times when we might feel limited, the truth is that God is not limited!

It’s time to get rid of limited thinking and put our faith and trust in God. The more you focus on the problem, the more you will be limited by the problem. But when you focus on God, you are focusing on the solution.

So stop analyzing your problems with a magnifying glass—this will only keep you discouraged and limited. Instead, focus on God. Speak of His greatness and power. Talk about how wonderful He is. When you make God bigger, you will make your problems smaller.

“So, then, brothers and sisters, don’t let anyone move you off the foundation ofyour faith. Always excel in the work you do for the Lord. You know that the hard work you do for the Lord is not pointless.” – 1 Corinthians 15:58 (GWT)

Are you tempted to give up on the dreams God has given you? Unfortunately, many people give up too soon and wonder why they never achieve anything significant in life. In order to see your dreams come to past, it is important to be relentless in your faith. Relentless is a word used to describe someone who is persistent and resilient.

When you are relentless about something, that means you are determined to win and will stop at nothing to reach your goals. People or obstacles may try to derail you, but you will not give in. With this never give up attitude, your focus will create an unstoppable intensity!

Are you relentless in your faith? If so, victory is inevitable. You’ve worked very hard and your discipline is soon to pay off. Even if you have dealt with weariness, discouragement, and disappointment, I declare that you are catching your second wind. Stay focused on the finish line. You’re almost there.

“One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up.– Luke 18:1 (AMP)

While in the process of fulfilling our dreams, sometimes we are met with all kinds of opposition that make us feel uncertain about our future. It’s during these times that our motivation to move forward subsides and we lose sight of the vision God has given us to accomplish.

Regardless of where you are in your journey, know within yourself that you have the ability to do great things and achieve your highest potential. You might be at the lowest point in your life, flooded by self-doubts, and surrounded by failure. However, if you will just hang in there, things will eventually work out in your favor. If God gave you a dream, stick with the plan and refuse to quit.

Your persistence and refusal to give up in the face of failure and defeat are perhaps two of the most critical ingredients in your success. Winners become winners because they refuse to quit. They refuse to stop trying. So much in life and success is about showing up and keeping on.

This is the last quarter of 2018 and I want to reignite a fire within you to believe God again and never stop pursuing your dreams. If you’ve fallen down, pick yourself off the floor, get back up on your feet and keep moving forward. Do not cave in and quit. Even if others have given up on you, don’t give up on yourself. Your best days are right in front of you!
