“The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and make you remember all that I have told you.” – John 14:26 (GNT)

The Holy Spirit is God’s gift to every believer who has received Christ. One of the main characteristics of the Holy Spirit is that He is our Helper. To help means to offer aid or assistance. It also means to make it easier or possible for someone to do something.

Life is not always going to be a smooth ride, but God has given us a personal navigator, who will never leave us stranded and confused. We will always have our Helper working on our behalf.

As we yield to Him and follow His direction, He promises to lead and guide us in the way we should go. All we have to do is cooperate with our Helper and allow Him to help us. This requires a confident trust that He has the answer, and He knows what’s best for us.

Pray this prayer: “Holy Spirit, thank You for being our ever-present Help! I submit to You and ask that You guide me along the best path for my life. I humbly receive Your wisdom, comfort, and direction. Thank You for being my faithful Friend. In Jesus name, amen!”

“Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.” – Hebrews 3:15

It doesn’t matter what has happened yesterday; all that matters is today! How are you going to make it work for you and not against you? Today is a new opportunity to choose life, victory, and success. However, you must decide what really matters—yesterday or today!

Life is too short to be nursing old wounds and rehearsing past wrongs. Holding on to grudges and harboring resentment will hinder you from having God’s best. Let today be the day you finally let go of the past and embrace a new beginning.

“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” – Psalms 139:14 (ESV)

So many people in our culture and society are unhappy because they are trying so desperately to live for the approval of others. Too often, we allow our sense of identity and well-being to be triggered by the opinions and reactions of people.

But knowing who we are in Christ will enable us to live life as God intended. Therefore, our peace and security should not be threatened by difficult people and circumstances.

If we would define ourselves by God’s words rather than the world around us, we will come into a greater awareness of who we really are. The more you agree with God about your identity in Christ, the more your life will begin to reflect your God-given identity, purpose, and destiny.

“Do not be afraid, for you will not be put to shame; don’t be humiliated, for you will not be disgraced.” – Isaiah 54:4:1 (CSB)

Is fear holding you back? So many people are frustrated and not living the abundant life because they are allowing fear to rule their lives. Fear is a prison that will incarcerate you for life. Once you let fear take root in your heart, it will generate more fear.

You have to learn to say no to fear! Every time you say no to fear, you win. Refuse to let it cheat you out of your dreams and rob you from your blessing. Recognize that God is greater than your fears, and He has given you the power to overcome.

Everything you’ve ever wanted to achieve in life is on the other side of fear. So stop being controlled by fear and start activating your faith. Make up your mind today that fear will not rule your life anymore!

“Christ has freed us so that we may enjoy the benefits of freedom. Therefore, be firm in his freedom, and don’t become slaves again.” – Galatians 5:1 (GWT)

Many times, we allow our past to hinder our present and abort our future. However, God has given us the power to break free and move towards a life of victory. We have the power to overcome anything that is holding us back from being all we were destined to be.

But you have to first want to be free! Whatever was imposed upon you by your past does not have to define you. A new day has come! Don’t let your history interfere with your destiny. Let today be the day you stop being a victim of your past, and start being a volunteer of your future.
